Meet Alisha, Director of Nourished by Trio

Alisha has always been immersed in hospitality and in 2016, she launched her own brand, Trio. Starting with a cafe in Albany, Auckland, her business quickly transformed from a modest coffee shop into a full-service, 7-day operation offering catering and events. After selling the cafe, Alisha concentrated solely on catering and events, leading to the establishment of Nourished by Trio in 2021. This new venture combines her extensive experience and her personal insights as a working mum, with a focus on making nutritious, delicious food accessible to everyone.

The small event at home that we had Trio events cater was amazing. The speed of communication before the event was exceptional and nothing was a problem. When it came to the menu, there was nothing off limits and they wanted to know our preferences and tastes to make sure we got what we wanted. With some dietary requirements added to the scenario, that was not a drama at all, “that’s what we do” was the response. On the night the team turned up right on time, we’re quick, efficient and tidy. They were helpful and professional but got the vibe of the evening and hopefully had a good time too. The food was amazing and the alternate drop option for even a small group was awesome so that people could choose and swap if they wanted. The 3 courses went off without any issues at all and Trio Events team finished up, cleaned up amazingly and went on their way for us to continue for a decent while longer. I’d have no issue recommending Trio Events for any event and as a special occasion at our home with close friends, nothing better!

Her communication was great throughout and she worked with our location perfectly to pull off our dream day. Nothing was too much hassle and she went above and beyond both during the planning stages but also on the day (putting so much love and care not only into the amazing food, but also all the little details like bows on the champagne glasses).
